What is Dymergent Research?
Dymergent Research is a private consulting group that assists companies doing research in Canada with documentation, standards compliance and applications for grants, financial assistance and tax credits under various government programs. This includes, but is not limited to, the SR&ED tax incentive program from the Canada Revenue Agency.
Who Should Use Dymergent?
Companies that are doing research in Canada who are claiming tax credits or are applying for financial assistance often require the assistance of companies like Dymergent to facilitate those applications. The chances of a claim being successful are directly dependent on the quality of the supporting documentation accompanying that claim. Dymergent helps to ensure that research documentation is complete and that claims are usually successful.
What Programs Can Dymergent Help With?
Dymergent focuses on SR&ED, which is a government program administered by the Canada Revenue Agency which reimburses companies doing innovative research in Canada for some of their expenses on that research. We also occasionally apply for government and military procurement tenders and for other research grants as they arise.
What Makes Dymergent Different?
The most common way to file for SR&ED credit is to prepare a claim at the end of the fiscal year. This usually involves pressure-filled deadlines as executive staff try to remember what was done months ago. Dymergent takes an entirely different approach. First, we generally get pre-claim assessments done by CRA so that you can be confident that, as long as you do your research and keep your documents, your claim is more likely to be approved. Second, we collect required data and assemble required documentation (including minutes) throughout the year rather than cramming at the end of the year. Responding to an audit request with Dymergent is often as simple as clicking “Save as PDF”.
